The Public Health and Health Policy Section at the University of Glasgow and the Centre for Health Economics at the University of York are jointly running three-day courses on Advanced Modelling Methods to be held at venues in Glasgow and York. The next course will be held in 2012, the course will be run at the University of York from Wednesday 21st - Friday 23rd March 2012. Booking forms are online now. The course will be also run in Glasgow later in 2012 (dates to be confirmed). This is an advanced course focusing specifically on decision modelling and intended for people currently undertaking modelling for health economic evaluation within the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, consultancy, academia or the health service. Participants would be expected to have attended an advanced course in economic evaluation such as the Expert Workshops in the Socio Economic Evaluation of Medicines run by the University of York.
