This Fellowship will enable the successful applicant to develop their research capabilities by contributing to studies in medication safety in primary care.
Projects available will build on existing work relating to one or more of the following topics: identifying the nature and causes of medication errors in primary care; the development and use of prescribing safety indicators in general practice (which may include analysis of large GP databases), and the further development of an IT-based pharmacist led intervention aimed at preventing medication errors.
